The Hotel Olimpia is situated in the historic center of Venice. All major attractions are within steps. The hotel has been completely renovated; all the 37 rooms are furnished in elegant 18th century Venetian style and are equipped with private bath-room, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, satellite TV, radio, mini-bar, telephone. The breakfast room has a view of a canal and on the there is a private garden with fruit trees and flowers. The hotel has a reading hall and the American bar where guests can relax. | 09.06.2003 Helen & Steve (Surrey) We found the hotel to be spotlessly clean and well presented.
Reception is always available; useful if you arrive v. late at night as we did. Great 'eat as much as you want' buffet style breakfast.
Hotel is within two minute walk of bus depot and Grand Canal which we found most convenient.

The hotel is very handy for arrival and departure, as it is right next to the bus station. The water bus stop is also only a minute or two's walk away, and if you use it to get to San Marco you see the whole of the Grand Canal. | | |
